Even after the reinserting of the power cord, you need to continue to hold the reset button. After the cord has been inserted, wait for at least 15-20 seconds, and then release it.

After about 10-25 seconds the router will automatically start to boot and it will be set back to the original factory default settings.

Once it is back to its default setting, you need to give the password of the router. In case, you don’t know, by default password on the router is left blank, and the default IP address is 192.168.2.
