- Firstly, close all the currently running application and turn off your laptop and close the display. Disconnect the power cord and unplug any other connected cables. Get rid of any installed memory cards or Express.
- Rotate the laptop and search the battery bay near the back frame of the device. Slide the battery locking switch to unlock the point. Slide the battery release key and hold it when you take out the battery from the battery bay.
- Search the memory bay cover. Release the screws locking the memory bay cover in its place. Find the indentation placed beside to the memory cover, add the tilt of your thumb into the indentation and pull the laptop memory bay cover off.
- Search the blank memory connector for your RAM module. If required, free up a connector by extracting an installed module.
